What is the name of your state? tn
My boyfriend is being charged with possesion of anhydros amonia , manufacturing and delievering of a controlled substance. He was asleep at his sister's house and apparently someone was in the backyard trying to make or going to make methenfedimines. What kind of sentence do you suppose he'll get?or is there someway to get him off? he is not a drug addict and he doesn't involve himself with drugs, it's simply a case of wrong place wrong time.Any information will be helpful.

My response:

Nice, plausible story!

It won't work, but it's a nice story anyway.

You and your boyfriend, and his sister, are from Tennessee and you want us to believe that your boyfriend had no involvement?

Surely, you're just trying to pull our collective legs, right?

The fact is, your boyfriend was helping his sister. He knew that she manufactures that crap, yet he was sleeping at her house.

Did you ever wonder why his hands are discolored, and why there's an ever present chemical smell on him?

Guess what? That's because he's involved in illicit drug manufacturing, and you're trying to find a way for him to get out by pushing the blame all on his sister.

All of them are looking at many years of prison. Time to find a "clean" boyfriend.

ok! I am not saying his sister was involved either. his sister and her husband and his other brother were bowling. the cops caught this other guy in the back yard about to make the stuff and they found my man in the hpuse. his family members pulled up the same times as the cops were escorting my man out the house. the other guy who was making it they found at another address later on. they followed the other guy to two other houses and busted all the other houses with the same ****. So no i really never smelt anything on my guy or his fingers were never discolored and he showed no signs of making myth. i also do not believe he was involved here at all, he worked to dam much to be able to make that crap. he cleaned carpets so that keeps you busy for almost the whole day.

If he didn't want to be involved with drugs, he didn't act like it. He does involve himself in drugs, and the evidence is there to prove it. He doesn't have to be a drug addict to manufacture and/or distribute, and the evidence is there to prove it. Someone wasn't "apparently" in the back yard playing chemist. They were, and the evidence is there to prove it. Your boyfriend was not in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was wrong to be in the wrong place -- period. If you're going to be involved with him, you need to understand these things about drug charges so you don't have these "misperception" about drugs and the charges that come along with them if you're ever "in the wrong place".

He's going to need a criminal lawyer -- one experienced in
defending people accused of drug charges. I cannot advise you as to any chances of him "getting off" or as to the penalty he will face if found guilty. All of that varies depending on circumstances. An attorney would be the one to advise on this. If he wants to "get off" or make a "plea" in exchange for less penalty, he will not be successful without an attorney. Legal represenation for him will be expensive.
