What is the name of your state? New Jersey

When I got home from work today there was a buisness
card placed in my door stating that the person who left
had slipped and hurt their knee on my sidewalk on Friday,
12/6.

This was one day after a snow storm had blanketed the
area. The previous day I had cleaned the sidewalk,
driveway, etc. While the sidewalk was not clear
down to the surface ( approximatley 1/4" remained )
it would not seem to cause any walking hazard
and by the general look of the neighborhood I was
as clear as many others.

The person states that I should call him to discuss this
which I feel is not proper. I have advised my insurance
carrier of this incident.

Any advice on what to do next or what to expect would be
appreciated. Thank you.

the card was left at your house? Was it a postman or something? Sounds more like an act of God not negligance on your part that he slipped and fell..

Yes, The card was left sticking out of the side door.
He said the fall happened in the PM and I was home that night.
