What is the name of your state? nevada, i have been legally divorced since 98, after an 18 yr marriage, under duress i signed quit claim deeds, out of court settlement, with the understanding that i would recieve half the proceeds on the sale of real estate/property located in az. said property was sold in march 2002 and i have recieved $100.00. i got nothing in the divorce; what are my rights?

My response:

None. Your divorce is over, and you signed Quit Claim Deeds. Since the divorce is over, the court has no more jurisdiction to hear your property rights claim - - assuming you even have any. No one held a gun to your head when you signed the Quit Claim deeds.

Obviously, you didn't have an attorney to guide you, or to tell you what the meaning of signing a Quit Claim deed would do to you - -so, you were penny wise, and dollar foolish.
