What is the name of your state? NY
I submitted an OIC for payroll taxes from a bankrupt corp. in Dec 2001. 2 other officers settled for 10,000 each. My offer was for same even though it was a struggle to get that much money together. IRS rejected it in July 2002. I submitted an appeal in Aug 2002. I got letter from IRS saying they received my appeal and would look at it in Oct 2002. I only had 27 months left of the 10 year collection period. How much longer can they take. Don't suggest an IRS advocate because tried that route and it was a joke. I knew more than she did! Thanks for any help.
