What is the name of your state? Florida

Hi, I'm getting a Resident alien visa & will be moving to
Florida soon. I then plan to sell my UK Ltd company,
and send the proceeds to the USA.

I've been advised by my UK accountant that no Capital
Gains Tax will be liable in the UK (as I won't be resident
there at the time the business is sold).

But, will I be liable for any tax in the USA on the proceeds
of the sale? Any advice is very gratefully received!

You will be taxes on all income received after you become a US resident alien or move to the US. The max capital gains tax rate for a long term asset (over 1 year) is 20%, usually. So, pick whether you want ot pay US taxes or UK taxes & time the sale accordingly.
