What is the name of your state? Georgia

My husband served most of 2002 in a combat tax free zone in operation enduring freedom. I entered all our w-2 information and in the wage category there are zeros. I am a stay at home mom and we have two dependent children. Are we eligible for earned income credit since our gross income is so low?

Yes. EIC no longer requires you to add in non-taxed earned income such as quarters allowance or combat pay. Congress will probably change the rules again next year.....
