What is the name of your state? PA

My fathers estate has been awarded a sum of mony in a medical malpractice case (my father died). Two components (doctors) settled the cases out of court. What is the tax liability against the estate for the sum of money that we have won here in the state of Pennsylvania? Thank you in advance for the information!
