What is the name of your state? IN
In my divorce it was stated that the truck I drive must be put into my name. It was leased by my ex-wife in her name alone. I have tried to get a loan to pay off the lease but my credit is not good enough and I keep getting denied. She said that she talked to her lawyer and she said that if I don't get it into my name somehow I am in contempt of court. What happens if I cannot fullfill the requirements in a divirce decree? What can they do to me if it is not my fault and there is nothing i can do?
