What is the name of your state? Ohio

I am wondering if I can take a deduction on either my state or federal income tax returns for the rent I paid this year. My income is less than 20,000 and I am single with no children.

Ohio may have a renters credit, although you probably make too much to qualify. if you have a home based business see instructions for federal form 8829.
