What is the name of your state? We live in AZ and are considering adoption. My sister was telling me tonight that she believed arizona still had a year recision period. We have found two children, by the same mother, who we want to adopt. I just can't see how a law would bein in effect to place children in a stable home and then up to a year later rip them away from esentially the only home the know/remember. I need some help here.

So, I need to know the process for Arizona adopton. Please if anyone can help. I don't know that I can go through a year of worrying every time the phone rings or there is a knock on the door that these kids Mom might be coming to take them back cause she changed her mind.

There is a link on the NAIC website

I would have gone nuts waiting a year. Once my daughter was with me NO ONE was going to take her away. WE adopted internationally for exactly that reason. Good luck.
