Hello,

My name is Jeff Hord, and I am the founder, executive manager, and editor of Outdoor Central.com Outdoor News Network. I am also visually impaired, or what is also known as “legally blind.”

I am looking for answers to a couple of legal, tax based questions, and was hoping you might be able to answer them for me, or at least lead me to a place where I can find the answers.

What are the tax advantages/credits in hiring a legally handicap employee, specifically a “blind” employee? Are there any advantages hiring a company owned by a blind person, or are the advantages strictly in hiring the blind person to work for you’re a company directly?

Any answers to these questions, and any pointers to websites where I can find the answers, specific laws, etc., would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your response.
