Subject: Lost/missing trust
In either 1973 or 1975 my mother,it is believed set up an irrevocable trust. She told my brother that we would each get $5,000. long after she was dead and gone. we know that she had the money in 1973, that's the last year we are able to access tax returns. Her lawyer, Richard Marshall of Nashville, Tennessee is dead andwe have been unable to find out who has his records. The IRS will not release tax returns which might help to locate the trust. Mother died without a will and there was no probate. We need to find out if the trust does exsist or not. she did business with at learst 2 bank in the Nashville area(Third National and 1st American) Now here's t he hook, when she died she was living in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
