Subject: Deceased unmarried sister

Louisiana-Deceased sister unmarried owed on property(vehicle and home. She left vehicle and home to her friend in her will. Vehicle paid for by credit life insurance. Home was not paid for. Finance company says can sell to friend. Our parents are both
alive, do they have rights to any of her things if left to friend in will? How would this be handled and should it be signed over by parents or siblings of the deceased? Are parents and/or siblings responsible for signing over vehicle as a donation to her friend if was left in will? Am told since siblings have naked ownership we must sign over vehicle to friend as a donation. If both parents alive would this still apply? What would it mean if the parents receive usufruct over the property? What is meant by
usufruct being joint and successive between parents and siblings? Does friend have rights to living in her home and driving her vehicle if still in deceased name? Auto insurance in deceased name also? What can be done? Please, please advise. Thank you.
Marlene.

If your sisters wishes were to leave her possesions to her "friend" , why do you you so livid? What issues do you have with the "friend" that you would not want your sister to be happy? You should want what your sister wished put away greed and jelousy.
