probate/setting bond

family friend named executor, big mistake. at time we couldn't imagine he would need to be bonded
and we could not afford it. question is, can we still have him bonded since it hasn't gone through
final/end probate ??

If all the beneficiaries are adults, and they all agree, you may be able to do it. The Will should have said no bond needed.
