Mother passed. Stepfather passed. His new wife was left everything. Is there any way to get the family heirlooms of my mother's that were left in the new wife's house? We have communicated our desire to keep these in the original family and have not yet received a response.

don't stop until you get a response of any kind. when you do, get the belongings right then. my step father did this to me and now I have nothing of my mothers. if she refuseds, tell her you will throw it into probate along with your stepfathers belongings.
