i just recently receive a 1099-misc with a small amount of income. i did not realize i would be receiving it. it was not mailed to me until after 2.15.03...i have already submitted my tax returns. do i need to file an ammended return now?

yes. file a 1040X. you poor thing; it's the worst form the IRS has.
