what happens if you have power of attorney
over someone and you decide you nolonger
want to act and the person that is listed next to act declines.Does the power of attorney then
come back to me? There was nothing signed legally, only a verbal statement made between me and the other person listed to act.I live in the state of Missouri.

A lawyer would have to read the power and be aware of all the circumstances (and I have not done that, and am not from Missouri) but you probably do not have to act -- you have power to do so, not an obligation (under most circumstances).
