After my mother's death, my father remarried and using only his assets, purchased another home in his name only for he and his second wife. His will named my brother and myself as the beneficiaries of the new home with the provision that his second wife be able to reside there until her death or remarriage. The will has been probated. Does the will serve as the legal proof of ownership or is it necessary to have a new deed drawn up? I live in the state of Alabama.
