If I put real estate or my home in a living trust , and not knowing my address, can creditors find out if I do not tell them? If I do not sign for a summons -for the purpose of revealing my assets - how would they know? Can they legally order this information? Would an offshore trust be more appropriate ? Is an offshore trust legal for asset protection?

Real estate ownership quickly traced. Ownership is reflected on the deed that's on file in the courthouse.

If you want asset protection information, see http://freeadvice.com/law/537us.htm

And yes, it is a criminal offense to hide assets from creditors.
