What is the name of your state? California

What is the Statues of Limitation on Drug Possession Charge in the state of California?

My first and only offense, I was charged back in 10-28-96(Offesnse Date) Possesion of a Controlled Substance. I left the state to rid my life of all negitive influences and I Never finished The required Diversion Program. Warrent isuued back 9-24-97.

I have a desire to goto California for work (Engineering).... What are my Options?

Please help with good advice.

The statute of limitations limits the amount of time a state can take to bring charges. Once you are tried and convicted, there is no time limit on how long they have to catch you. Like hmmmbrdzz said, you need an attorney to help you take care of this.
