my husband mother passed away at the end of January there was a will written where the sister was left 55% of the estate and her two children were left the house to split. The two son were left 15% of the estate and one grandson was also left 15%. Two other grandchild were each left 2 thousand dollars. Everyone was included in the will. The sister which was in charge of the will took it from one attorney to another attorney. It was explained that the first attorney would not register the will. There was a previous will, this one was just written a year before the death. Everyone one was willing to accept the will as it was but it seem that after a month and a half the will has not been probated and the sister has left one lawyer and went to another. The orginal will was to leave everything to the three children, not the grandchildren. Also the father who had passed away years before the mother had his will written to leave all things to his three children. For some reason there has been a switch of lawyer and the will has not been registered. Do you feel there is a need for concern or legal advice for the two son that were left the 15%. They were willing to accept it as it was, but are suspicious that there is something wrong with the delay and switch of lawyers.
