What is the name of your state? AZ

my boyfriend and I lived together the whole year, and i had a baby.he has claimed head of household and also go the earned income credit for the baby.I feel we contributed equally to the babies well being. Can I claim single, and have the baby as a dependent? Or can only one person claim the baby at a time?

He can file HH, but only one person can claim the baby as a dependent. Usually an unmarried couple has the higher-income parent claim HH & the baby, and has either parent claim the baby for EIC. Whoever will get more EIC should claim the baby for EIC. The non-HH parent files as single.
