charged w/drug transportation-a felony

I was charged w/transportation of drugs and possession of paraphenalia (sp?). I got caught w/methamphetamine with a supposed boyfriend - we were on a date. I had a very small amount which the police found on him as i had previously given it to him to hold (i denied it at the time of arrest of which i will claim as mine in court). He had a very very large amount of the drug along w/some other drugs which the police found in his black bag, in my car. At the time of the arrest, he told the police men that i was aware of all the drugs he had which is far from true. Am i being charged with transportation due to his statement or is it that he is not confessing his ownership to the drugs. And will those charges stick since it is his word against mine? Worse scenerio, what if he doesnt' claim those drugs as his? I have a court appointed attorney so i'm in a state of worry, shock depression.... My court date is March 18 - i'd appreciate any asap advice. thanks for your time.

Worse case scenario -- you're charged with
possession, trafficking, transporting, and you're
found guilty. If you can't afford an attorney,
then you're left with the PD. Talk to him / her.

*** Very likely neither. You were charged with 'transportation' since it was your car. Also, that you were probably driving at the time.

*** Doesn't matter. The drugs were in your car.... and you are responsible for the contents.

*** Same as best scenario... you are still charged.

Confused, don't you know I'm sticking up for you in a round about way? Don't you remember when efforts were underway last week to boot you and when some comment was made NOT to because you were actually quite entertaining, comparable to watching an excited kid build great things with cardboard boxes? Well.... I remembered it, and so I gave you a cardboard box project this morning.
