What is the name of your state? Arkansas
My husband and I have been living apart without a legal sepation for over a year. How can I protect myself from any financial obligation he may incur since our separation? Is a signed and notarized letter from him freeing me from any bad debt (ie medical bills or IRS debt) binding, or could I still be held legally responsible? I am afraind he is not going to file his income tax return (I filed as single). Please advise.
