What is the name of your state? South Carolina
My fiancee is married to a woman in another state. He has no knowledge of where she lives. How can he obtain an inexpensive divorce?

He needs to talk to an attorney in the state he's a resident of. If he doesn't know where his wife is, it's more complicated as a good-faith effort must be made to find/serve her.

It's usually wise to get divorced before getting engaged again, tho.

There are many other ways to divorce a party whose whereabouts are unknown. Hiring an attorney is one way, if you have unlimited funds. Many paralegal services offer a diligent search that is acceptable to most courts. There are also many search opportunites online that you can do yourself. Some may cost $25..or less or some more. Good luck!
