What is the name of your state? Ny
Our Condo's Laawyer sent a letter to another Board member asking if she would provide proof she is on the deed(Our by-laws state board members need to need to be a homeowner to be on the board) She brought proof at the last board meeting and the manager looked at the deed privately. Nothing else was mwentioned . This week she received a letter from the Boards Attorney asking her to show proof and was stated in the letter the Board asked him to write the letter???
The president would like this woman off, we feel she does a great job. She is also on our Society Board with no complaints.
This should have been checked from day one anyway...Their are 9 on the Board and three other Board members know nothing of this. How can an Attorney say in a letter the Board asked him if there was no decision of a board or vote?? We feel the President demanded this and who is paying the Attorney ??? The Community? If they want her out the Board should have a Vote and the Board should face her head on, no secrets?
Any info would be great. Thanks SH
