What is the name of your state? current:California (past Mass)

I worked severalmonths for the school system in Massachusetts.
The deducted money towards a retirement from my paychecks.

I have moved to California, work in California and will retire in California....

What happens to the $500 plus dollars Mass has "invested" for my retirement their??? I have written to the Bristol County Retirement agency, they send me aslip each year saying how much is invested ...but never say how orwhen I wil see the $ $

Shouldn't I at leastbe able to move ittoaretirement fund here?I have a 401 plan!

thanks,
Robinbird

Mass. will start sending you retirement checks when you reach retirement age, if you're vested in the program. If you're not vested, you lose the money.
