Please, I wrote a while back & no one replied to my questions, consering an Estate in Arkansas. Now the executor (crooked sister in law) and the attorney she works for and who is the Estate attorney says they are entitled to 15% each of the Estate. The Inventory she filed was underestimated to begin with. This sounds very steep to me. She has done some very questionable things to begin with.
The Estate Inventory valued the Estate at $434,986.00 Can her & her boss both draw 15% (65,250.00)?
How do I report her actions?

My response:

I wish I could help you, but like everyone else, I don't have any answers for you. Your situation is just far too detailed, and would take reams of writing and hours to work on. Please, for your own peace of mind, see a Probate Attorney, and "even up" the playing field.

Again, I am very sorry.

In most states it is set by LAW, what the maximum fees are usually 5% but some state are graudated fees,

Also you need a full accounting of all the monies....

But truthfully, this sound like a fraud..MOST people INFLATE the value of the estate to collect higher fees..
