What is the name of your state? michigan


adultery, alcoholism, and drug abuse are not grounds for a divorce in michigan only force, fraud, and duress are so how am i supposed to get a divorce from my husband when they won't grant me one for the reasons i want ? any advise?

Did you hear this from a "Family Law" practioner? Because according to both www.divorcenet.com and www.divorcesource.com MI is purely "no fault state"; the only "grounds" are "irretrievable breakdown of the marriage". You have to have been a resident for 180 days prior to filing and a resident of the county for 10 days.
