I have signed my husbands name to my tax returns. I was under the assumption he was not working. (We have not lived together for the past 10 yrs.)


Now he wants to contact the IRS. What are my options?

Hire an attorney. You filed fraudulent returns and could face fines, penalties, or even jail. Do not talk to the IRS at all. Refer them to your attorney.
