What is the name of your state? Maryland

Help! I filed for an order of protection against my husband. We have since reconciled. There was no abuse. However we did have some problems. I only got a temporary order about 1 week) and didn't follow up for a long term order. The order was never served. I now regret ever filing and I am afraid that the order will hinder promotions on his job. Can the order ever be removed from his record ? If so, how would we go about getting it removed?

If it can be removed, an attorney would know. Your husband would need to hire one to have any arrests "expunged".

Good luck.
