I have a daughter that is German National. I have supplied her with documentation to get her dual citizenship. I would like to adopt her sister. Her sister is 35, lives in Louisiana and has 8 years left on her "resident visa", however she may be divorcing soon.
How would a divorce affect her visa status?
If I adopt her, what would be the procedures for her to become an American Citizen?
