If I don't get anything from the house even though I have paid in and the house has apreciated, am then not responsible for credit that she has In her name? I didn't sign on??
My wife and I purchased a home one year after our marriage. We used money from a home she owned before our marriage to put down on this home. The home is financed in her name because of a credit issue I have a few years earlier.
Am I entitled to appeciation and equity in this home upon our divorce?
We have no children together.
