found not guilty by jury in Florida -- Am I entitled to compensation for 2 years jail

What is the name of your state? In Florida I was found not guilty of all charges by a jury (3 second deg. felonies and 1 3rd deg. felony). Do you know if I am entitled to any compensation for the almost 2 years that I spent in jail awaiting trial? I hve heard many things from fellow inmates such as $100. per day for jail time and legal fees. Some said that I may be also entitled to lot wages etc.

you arent entitled to compensation because you were in jail awaiting trial. Wasnt bail set?

Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, bail was set, but not affordable.

Oh well, I guess I write that notion off as more dreams of the jailhouse lawyers.
