Yesturday, my husband received a bill for $42000 for child support. We have never received a bill before, he has never been contacted (she know where we have been for the past 6 years). This has never showed up on his credit report until 3 months ago. They want us to pay 450.00/ month. Every time he calls o speak with his son, she won't let him talk to him or see him. What should we do about the bill. We want to pay the money, but can only afford 300.00/month. Also, can this affect any personal investments that I have in my name? Should I have everything put into one of my parents name to be safe? Please help!
