Extradition to another state

a friend is in jail in florida for a warrant in texas.she was on probation in texas and left state. a lawyer says if she pays $500 he can get her out and she won't be extradited to texas.is this really possible?how?

It's either to pay the fine/warrant or the lawyer is trying to rob you. Better make sure by talking to the lawyer and getting everything in writing.
