i have been divorced for five years and have recieved one child support payment for my two children.i have filed with the AG's office, wasted time with CSE & now i have a lawyer.why is it so hard for a mom to collect payment?well , now my ex has been shot & is considered disabled and my children collect a big $42. a month in SS.WOW. i'm sure he will milk this disablity for as long as he can. if he can drive & party with his friends,he can work right??? what to do ?? holding on in texas

Well, you mentioned the AG, what about your local DA's office of child support?

current disablitity does not invalidate back owed payments. Also, if there is a modification, the judge could be asked to evaluate what he can earn, not what he is earning
