What is the name of your state? Arizona
If I were to file a Petition for Order of Protection, stating Defendant's physical abuse and destruction of property, would the Defendant be brought up on criminal charges?

If I just want the person to stay away from me and my property, can a restraining order be filed that won't carry criminal prosecution unless violated?

I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Thank you,
LB
