I have an employee. Her ex-husband is file for child support. He make more money a year but is self-employed. She make just over minimum wages. She is refusing to pay support since he make about 3-4 times more than she does. If she goes to court and loses the cases then she is going to quit her job so he can not get any money. Her name is not on any assets of value. She is married. If she does not have the money or a job can the court garnish her husbands wages to make the payment? Or, is everything under his name and his wages exempt from the child support?
