Warrants never expire. If they did, then people would become fugitives from justice, wait out the time limitation, and return as if nothing ever happened.
Criminal law doesn't work that way. You'll always be looking over your shoulder. You know the old saying, "You can run, but you can't hide"? Well, in this type of instance, it's true.
