I would like people to stop advocating on adoption and I wish attorneys and CPS agencies and others who do would bring up the fact that adoption is not the answer for infertile couples.

Many adoptive parents now-a-days are screaming"wrongful" adoption and throwing their special needs children they adopt back into the same system they took them out of.

So what do you propose people do when they are unable to raise their children or unable to conceive? Adoption helps the birth parents, the child, and the adoptive parents.

Maybe part of the problem is:

a: The system has traditionally waited way too long, and let kids be damaged way too long by bioparents before they finally realized that these bioparents were never, no matter how many "parenting" classes they agreed to take, ever going t o able to parent their children and terminated their rights so that these kids could get the parents they deserved.

b. agencies fail to educate and disclose. They withold important information about these children and fail to place them in the proper situation. For example, a child who has suffered sexual abuse and acts out sexually should NOT be placed in a home with younger children AND the adoptive parents should be informed of known history so they can be attentive in at-risk situations.

Adoptive parents should be fully informed when doing other than newborn adoptions. And newborn adoptions in which fetal drug or alchohol exposure may have occured need to also be scrutinized so that the new parents are educated about what to expect and how to deal with it.

So, all these kids that need to be adopted should only be adopted by FERTILE couples?

What is a "wrongful adoption". Is this an actual term or a euphanism?
