What is the name of your state? AZ

posted in the windshield of my car got me a ticket for "displaying a vehicle for sale". Now the car was backed into position at the curb so the sign would show. However the ticket didn't state the violation to be improper parking. So I'm going to court just to understand what I did so wrong.

I live in IL, and know that you can get a ticket for displaying a for sale sign, but only if it lists the price. They call it solictation.
