What is the name of your state? Missouri
Our son forgot to pay a $1 parking ticket. The car is registered in my husbands name and he recieved a ticket for 25.00 plus a warrant has been issued for his arrest!!! can he just go up and pay the ticket without fear of being arrested. Strange set of rules here! Thanks

What's so strange about not paying a fine then finding out you have a responsibility?

Not only do you now owe the original $1, but also court costs and other sundry costs associated with filing the warrant.

It looks like son is going to be washing the car for a long time to pay this one off.

Do not mail in the $1. The time for this is long gone. Call the court house and ask if you can appear at the next available docket, post the bond and plead guilty.

The bond will be the cost of the ticket plus all other charges incurred by the court.

Your son is a moron. Do what hexeliebe suggested and bring money.
