Texas- in 2000 i was charged with resisting arrest, evading arrest,
criminal mischif, and disorderly conduct. I obtained a lawyer and went to court for all but disorderly conduct. I got a letter from my lawyer to appear in court on 12/9/03 for the disorderly conduct (i thought this was taken care of as well). He said it was going to cost me an additional 1,500 to represent me for the disorderly conduct charge and I dont have the money. What are my opions? What is the maximum and minimum penalties for disorderly conduct in Texas?

$1500 in 5 months is chump change. Get a part time job and thank your lucky stars that you are NOT under arrest.
