What is the name of your state? ca
I went to the "Superbowl Experience" in January and now I've received a notice from a collection agency regarding a parking violation I supposedly committed on a private parking lot seven months ago. All I remember is that I paid the attendant, parked where he told me to, and left a little after dark which was about 6 - 6:30 p.m.. What rights do I have? I feel as though I've been tried - convicted - and sentenced without even knowing the offense, let alone facing my accuser or being given the opportunity to defend myself.
