What is the name of your state, ny I heard that the US government is cracking down on this. Can a person go on social security disability, start a business, and put the business in their wife’s name? I had seen this happen a lot. Don’t say that a person has to be disabled to go on SSD. That scam has been going on for years! What I heard was the wife can work, but for income from a business, the wife has to put her husbands name on the tax return, as part of the business (same sir name). He would have income, not get SSD? I’m not that good with words, so I most likely didn’t put it the way I wanted to.
