I recently went to a court hearing and did'nt get to see the judge because my ex husband did'nt show up. My l awyer then had a conference with me telling me that he discussed with them that it is going to trial. My question is why does it need to go to trial if he does'nt show up? What do they mean by he is at default? My lawyer also wants me to dish out 195.oo for trial papers. Is this necessary? Is he jerking me around?
