I was divorced last year, and i own my ex-wifes car. It is financed w/ only about $5800 left to pay it out. She is a co-signor on the loan. The finance company will not refinance their own loans. She will not go out and get a loan to pay off this balance. Instead of trusting her to make 2 yrs of monthly payments, is it legal for me to take the car back?
