What is the name of your state? NY

My 90-year-old mother-in-law came over for a few visits 4 years ago, and has never left. She has no assets (gave up apartment and contents 3 years ago) but has a lot of credit accounts which she continues to use. She receives her mail at our address and insists on handling her own affairs. I know that she gets collections and overlimit calls on our phone. Will we have any liability for this high-balance debt that she has run up?
