What is the SoL for misdemeanors? The courts left my case open for 8 years! I was accused of DV with a minor. Now parts of my life are affected by this open case. I was told by the Judge @ that time that after 2 years (documented as 6 months) my case would be dismissed and expunged, neither of which has happened. I discovered this a year ago and no response from the Commonwealth's Attorney with my request for a 'No Interest' filing.
P.S. I live way outta state and a re-appearance is not an option financially.
